About the team
Design is four people in Rotterdam and Lisbon, and Canvas is where most of our work lands. Canvas is the surface where builders drag blocks, wire them together and watch a run move through them. Most of our 1,900 teams spend their day there.
We want a first workflow to run in under ten minutes, and a 40-block workflow to stay as readable as a four-block one.
What you will do
Own the design of Canvas, from the block library to how runs and errors show up on it.
Work with one engineering pod from the first sketch to the release notes.
Design approval steps, agent budgets and replay diffs so a finance lead can read them.
Run research calls with builders every week and share what you learn in writing.
Keep our design system honest, in Figma and in the shipped product.
What you bring
Five or more years designing complex tools for people who use them every day.
A portfolio that shows interaction design, not only finished screens.
Comfort with dense information: tables, logs, diagrams and states.
Clear written English. Most of our decisions start as a document.
Nice to have
You have designed a node editor, a diagram tool or an IDE.
You prototype in code, or in Framer, when a static frame cannot show the idea.
You have worked on a product used by finance or operations teams.
Our tools
Figma for design, Framer for prototypes and the marketing site, and React with TypeScript in the product. We use Linear and Notion, and every designer has a seat in the codebase.
